Compensation for death damage

Personal injury after death is regulated differently in law than without death. The survivor who was (financially) supported by the deceased is entitled to compensation for this lost (financial) maintenance. This may include the lost contribution to fixed expenses such as mortgage or rent, utilities, children's study costs, but also maintenance in kind such as doing the housework.
